eGIST: How did you get your stage name?

Got it on the pitch of play during a training session back then when I use to be a footballer

eGIST: What first got you into music?

I started craving passion for music during my high school days. Whenever I watch my friends who were into the music thing back then I got inspired and passionate

eGIST: Who inspired you to make music?

2BAM my current music producer, formerly known as Bamstey got me inspired

eGIST: How would you describe the music that you typically create?

It’s deep, reality and inspirational

eGIST: What is your creative process like?

When I’m in a happy mood I get thrown into the process

eGIST: Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Burna Boy

eGIST: If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?


eGIST: What is one message you would give to your fans?

Consistency, work & prayer is the key

eGIST: What is the most useless talent you have?

I don’t think I got any as such. I see my talents as positive in all ramifications

eGIST: Do you sing in the shower? What songs?

Yeah I do…Afro pop

eGIST: What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Would be a footballer or event planner

eGIST: How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

The internet drew us closest to our celebrities and created more ways to make money even as an upcoming artiste

eGIST: Which famous musicians do you admire?

WULRD, Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, 2Pac, Tiwa Savage, 6ixnine, Popcaan

eGIST: What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

A show I organized and invited dancers who were suppose to be paid by the management of the hotel but the show was cancelled and I couldn’t get funds to pay them. It was a nightmare between I and the dancers that midnight l, damn!

eGIST: What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Remember where you came from

eGIST: If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

The poor relationship between artiste and their colleagues…They don’t have deep love for each other only but a few understand

eGIST: What’s your stake about Nigeria music industry

To be famous with my songs and generate funds so as to fix up the upcoming ones and make their voices heard

Only you my new music project. I need funds to fix her up

Women across the globe who stand by their men in times of trials, brokenness and challenges
